Kevin Pass, DDS, PA
Dr. Pass is one of the world’s leaders in aesthetic dentistry and dental implants. His renown is the result of years of study in several countries, and his ongoing devotion to teaching. Dr. Pass graduated from Manchester Dental School in England in 1977, and then practiced in England, South Africa and Australia, before moving to the United States 16 years ago. He earned his U.S. dental degree from University of Missouri at Kansas City Dental School with special responsibilities teaching aesthetic dentistry in 1996. He concurrently held a position as Assistant Professor in the Aesthetic Dentistry Department at the University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.
As well as participating in a growing practice in Kansas City, Dr. Pass has attended continuing education programs, including a hands-on surgical program for placing implants at Clinical Research Associates, and a mini-implant program. He is a member of the Kansas City Dental Implant Association Study Club, and clocks over 30 hours per year on the further education relating to implants. Since Dr. Pass can both place and restore dental implants, all work is confined to a single office. This eliminates chance of error, and allows the patient to maintain a relationship with the dentist that placed the implant(s). Furthermore, Dr. Pass’s unique background in aesthetic dentistry complements his abilities to place and restore implants, resulting in the superior beauty and health of his patients’ implants.
Dr. Pass currently consults for a dental products company, where he helps solve problems dentists may have using products. He also consults for a large dental laboratory advising dental clients on difficult clinical cases.
While Dr. Pass is highly respected in the field and extremely learned, he maintains a friendly rapport with his patients and staff. His patients are not only comforted by his amiable disposition, but by the knowledge they are receiving care from one of dentistry’s leaders. He graciously provides pro-bono care to a limited number of underprivileged individuals
In his free time, Dr. Pass enjoys running, soccer, skiing, outdoor adventures and trying new foods.
